Who is responsible

THE /// PROJECT is the trading brand of THE PROJECT TRADING W.L.L., a company registered in the State of Qatar under Commercial Registration No. 126177. THE PROJECT TRADING W.L.L. operates this website and is responsible for personal information processed through the online store.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, billing and delivery addresses, account information, order and return history, correspondence with client care, and information you choose to provide.

We may also receive technical information such as IP address, browser/device information, cookie identifiers and information about how the site is used.

How information is used

Information is used to operate the store and provide requested services, including:

  • processing and fulfilling orders;
  • delivery, returns and client care;
  • managing customer accounts;
  • fraud prevention, security and troubleshooting;
  • legal, accounting and regulatory obligations;
  • improving the website and customer experience; and
  • marketing communications where you have consented or where otherwise permitted by applicable law.

The current section is acceptable. Once Tap Payments is activated, I recommend replacing it with:

Payments are processed through third-party payment providers made available at checkout, including Tap Payments where enabled. Payment providers may process payment-card, wallet or other financial information under their own privacy terms and security requirements.

THE /// PROJECT does not receive or store full payment-card details. We generally receive information required to manage the order, such as payment status, transaction references, payment method and the amount paid.

Sharing and service providers

Personal information may be shared only where reasonably necessary with service providers supporting the store, such as website hosting and technology providers, payment processors, delivery and logistics providers, email or customer-service providers, analytics or marketing providers if enabled, professional advisers, and competent authorities where required by law.

These providers may process information in Qatar or other countries. Where information is processed across borders, reasonable steps are taken to use providers and safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and the service.

Cookies and similar technologies

The site uses essential cookies and similar technologies required for functions such as the shopping bag, checkout, account sessions and security. If analytics or marketing tools are enabled, additional cookies or similar technologies may also be used and should be reflected in the site’s consent controls.

You can manage browser cookies through your browser settings, although disabling essential cookies may affect store functionality.

Retention and security

Personal information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including order fulfilment, customer service, accounting, legal obligations and dispute resolution.

Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. No internet-based system can, however, be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal information, ask for inaccurate information to be corrected, object to certain processing, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, or request deletion where there is no longer a lawful reason to retain the information.
